KLEIN - A very special public limited company
KLEIN Anlagenbau AG is a special kind of company: a partly employee-owned public limited company. In 1999, the company was founded by employees as a spin-off from the long-established firm Alb. Klein GmbH & Co. KG, which had gone bankrupt. This means that many of our employees are also shareholders and play an active role in shaping the company’s future. Through the Annual General Meeting, employee-shareholders gain insight into the company’s financial performance and strategic direction and participate in the company’s success via dividends. One becomes a shareholder by acquiring shares through employee share schemes or by trading shares amongst themselves.
We develop and manufacture sophisticated process technology.
Our systems include conveyor systems for foundries and the bulk materials industry, mixers for use in 3D printing, used sand reclamation systems for foundries, and systems for generating shock waves to clean complex castings, to name but a few.
Our sand-filling systems are used worldwide to fill trains with braking sand. Thanks to our braking sand scattering systems, this sand can be applied precisely to the rails. In this way, we contribute to greater safety in rail transport. And last but not least, our shock wave technology is used in the processing of natural fibres such as hemp. The natural fibres treated in this way are used in the textile industry to produce innovative and sustainable textiles. Our customers include leading international companies from industry and the rail sector – all over the world.
