Industry-specific solution for
recycling and
regeneration
Regeneration of foundry sand
KLEIN develops high performing productive systems for the processing and regeneration of foundry sands, thus making an important contribution to the circular economy.
In innovative regeneration processes, binder residues and impurities from used moulding and core sands are removed, so that they can be used again. The regenerated material can be fully reused in core or mould production or – depending on its properties – utilised in other industrial applications. This contributes to significantly reducing the consumption of primary raw materials, transport costs and disposal costs, whilst at the same time the sustainability and cost-effectiveness of foundry operations are enhanced.
Shock wave technology for recycling
KLEIN’s shock wave technology opens up new possibilities for the recycling of complex materials.
Through the targeted generation of shock waves, composite materials can be gently separated from one another without unnecessarily damaging the valuable components. Typical applications include the recycling of electronic assemblies to recover high-quality metals, as well as the processing of composite materials such as fibre-reinforced plastics. Selective separation improves the purity of the recovered materials and increases their reusability. In this way, shock wave technology helps to keep valuable raw materials within the economic cycle and enables resource-efficient recycling processes for a wide range of industrial sectors.
