A particular focus is on the cleaning of castings using shock wave technology. The process reliably removes adhering sand, ceramic residues, chips and coatings – even from complex internal geometries and hard-to-reach cooling or oil passages. Particularly for heavily loaded engine components such as cylinder heads, engine blocks or turbocharger housings, residue-free cleaning is crucial for the quality, function and service life of the components.
Furthermore, shock wave technology is ideally suited to numerous other cast components, such as battery housings, structural components or chassis components. The low-contact cleaning process enables short cycle times, high process reliability and consistently high cleaning quality.
