We design and supply complete systems for core sand preparation tailored to your requirements, with the core sand mixer at the heart of the system, along with the sand supply system (including temperature control and dust extraction), the binder supply system, the feeding and dosing of powder additives, core sand distribution, and the storage and preparation of coatings. All processes are controlled and visualised via a state-of-the-art control system designed by us; all operating data and process parameters can be recorded and stored, as well as communicated to a higher-level control room.

Another key focus is the regeneration of moulding sand. Using modern mechanical and thermal regeneration processes, used sand is freed from binder residues and prepared for reuse. This reduces the consumption of new sand, lowers disposal costs and improves the sustainability of the entire foundry process. Intelligent control and process monitoring systems ensure a consistently high quality of the regenerated sand.

In addition, KLEIN offers innovative systems for cleaning castings using shock wave technology. This process utilises high-energy pressure waves to gently yet extremely effectively remove adhering moulding sand, core sand, ceramic residues and coating from the castings. Even hard-to-reach cavities and complex geometries can be reliably cleaned without causing mechanical damage to the components. Compared with conventional methods, shock wave cleaning reduces the amount of manual labour required, shortens process times and significantly improves cleaning quality.
